Biography

Dr Paul Ross is a leading Medical Oncologist at Guy’s & St Thomas’ and King’s College Hospitals. He trained in Medical Oncology at the Royal Marsden Hospital and Institute of Cancer Research. 

His subspecialty includes treating cancers of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, gall bladder, and pancreas. He has vast experience in neuroendocrine and adrenal tumours and offers a holistic approach, integrating multi-modality therapy where appropriate. He is Clinical Lead for a large liver cancer service.  He is heavily involved in research and serves as the chief investigator on numerous studies, including locoregional therapy. He is committed to optimising his clients’ well-being and outcomes. His areas of expertise include chemotherapy, biological therapy, immunotherapy, locoregional therapy, colorectal cancer, neuroendocrine tumours, biliary tract (cholangiocarcinoma and gall bladder) cancer, primary liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma), oesophago-gastric cancer, and pancreatic cancer. 

His research interests are clinical trials, pharmacogenetic and predictive of biomarkers focused on improving outcomes for patients.
